The rear brake of a Yamaha Tracer 900 used for commuting spends its life doing small jobs: steadying the bike at walking pace, holding it at a junction on a slope and trimming speed without pitching the front down. Accossato rear pad AGPP88 in the Organic (OR) compound is meant for that. Accossato lists AGPP88 for the Tracer 900 from 2015 to 2024. OR gives a quiet, soft bite and treats the rear disc gently.

Construction and Material Quality
For Organic, Accossato claims long-lasting performance and low disc wear. On a Tracer 900's rear brake, which is used frequently but lightly on the commute, that is a good match. Accossato's general statements about its pads, slow wear, less fade and strong stopping, are its own claims.
Small Jobs for the Rear
The Tracer 900 has a lively throttle, and at low speed in traffic a light drag of the rear brake helps smooth out the bike's response, making slow riding calmer. On a sloping junction, the rear brake holds the bike while the rider's hands deal with the clutch and throttle. All of this calls for a soft, predictable bite, which OR is designed to give when cold. For long tours two-up, ST is steadier. On a daily commuter, the rear pad often outlasts the front, but it still deserves a regular look. A worn rear pad also changes pedal travel gradually, so many riders only notice it when the metal backing starts to touch the disc; catching it earlier saves the disc.
Rear Pad Inspection
Look at the rear pads whenever you clean the wheel. When replacing them, clean the caliper, press the piston back gently and restore pedal pressure before riding.
Fitment and Compatibility
For every Tracer 900 between 2015 and 2024, Accossato names AGPP88 at the rear. The bike has a single rear caliper, so one box is the whole job. Pair it, if the front is also due, with AGPA97, which Accossato gives for the same span of model years; the front needs two boxes. Wipe the rear disc clean before refitting the wheel area covers.

AGPP88OR is offered for competition use, as there is no ABE and no test documentation with us.
