The livery
Lava, and a claw where the money is.
The 2025 Bagnaia design is one graphic idea done properly: molten red torn across matte black, as if the shell had cracked and something hot was coming through. It reads at a hundred metres and it reads at arm's length, which is harder than it sounds. What you might not notice on the shelf is that it comes two ways. One wears the Monster claw and a slash of green on the temple. The other wears Lenovo, and skips the green. Same lava. Same shell. Same everything, in fact — and that turns out to be the interesting part.

The €133 question.
Here is the part a shop is not supposed to print. Put the two 2025 Bagnaia replicas side by side and the spec sheets are identical: the same Tri-Fiber shell, the same 1,400 g, the same ECE 22.06 and FIM homologation, the same Optical Class 1 visor, the same Pinlock in the same box. The Monster version costs €911.07. The one without it costs €778.43. The difference is €132.64, and it buys you a claw and a stripe of green.
That is not a scandal — licensed liveries cost the manufacturer money, and if you want the helmet Pecco actually wears on the grid, the Monster one is the helmet Pecco actually wears on the grid. But you should be choosing it because you want it, not because you assumed the dearer one was the safer one. It isn't. They are the same helmet.
