The Practical MV
Integrated panniers, a proper screen, semi-active suspension on the Lusso versions and a 110 hp triple. The Turismo Veloce is the least fashionable motorcycle MV Agusta builds and by a wide margin the one that makes the most sense to actually own.
Which Drilling You Need
Aligned means the two clamp bolts sit on a line square to the handlebar. If one is set forward of the other the offset version applies instead. It takes seconds to establish with the bike in front of you and it is the commonest cause of a return.
A Crowded Bar
Touring machines accumulate hardware: a navigation cradle, a phone mount, sometimes a heated clothing controller. The dedicated aligned drilling sits closer to the master cylinder than the universal plate and gives that competition a little more room.
Hours Rather Than Sessions
A sport tourer's right-hand controls are operated repeatedly across whole days rather than intensively in short bursts. That steady accumulation is what turns a crisp button into a vague one, and it happens gradually enough that the rider adapts.
Gloves for Half the Year
A bike bought for distance is ridden when it is cold. Under thick gloves the machined step between one control and the next stops being a refinement and becomes the only reliable way to know which button was pressed.
Sealed Against Weather
Sealed switch elements inside a body milled from one block. The Turismo Veloce is used in conditions MV's sports models are kept away from, and the absence of a moulded seam is what keeps the contacts dry.
Black Anodised
One finish, converted into the surface rather than applied on top of it. On a cockpit already carrying a large display and several mounts, it is the option that stays out of the way.
