For the 2015 and 2016 RSV4 RF, the JP PS AP009 is the machined left-hand switch block in black or titanium.

Before the 2017 Revision
The RF launched in 2015 with the earlier control layout and changed to a new one for 2017. Model year decides which part number fits, and on a bike sold in numbered batches that is easy enough to establish.
The Pit-Lane Limiter
Aprilia gave the RSV4 a proper speed limiter for pit lane and put it on the bar. It is a track feature on a road bike, and it is operated with the same fingers that work the indicators on the way home.
Öhlins, Forged Wheels, Superpole
The RF's specification separated it from the RR by suspension and wheels rather than by engine. What the rider touches is where Aprilia spent the difference, which makes the plastic switchgear an odd survivor.
Menus Under Load
Traction and engine map are changed while moving, often mid-session, and the confirmation appears on the dash rather than under the thumb. A switch with clear travel is what tells the rider the input registered.
Milled From Solid
A single block of Ergal 7075, with military-specification elements sealed inside. The original is injection moulded in halves and the seam between them is the route moisture eventually takes.
Two Finishes
Black or titanium. The Superpole livery is busy enough that the quieter of the two usually looks better, though titanium picks up the fork tops on an RF rather neatly.
Nothing to Splice
Pre-wired to the motorcycle's own plug. No adapter, no soldering and no warning light, which matters on a machine whose electronics notice a great deal more than they used to.
