The JP ES 007 answers the secondary air circuit on the Scrambler SIXTY2 with a fixed resistance, so the controller finds what it expects even though the valve itself has gone.

Ducati referenced the original Scrambler's launch year, which is the sort of detail the whole sub-brand was built on.
After a Termignoni
A racing system removes the restriction that was muffling the reaction. Owners fit the exhaust, hear the crackle and assume the exhaust caused it.

Ducati has used more than one plug over the years, which is why the part is listed against specific model years rather than sold as a universal item.
Fitting It Properly
The connector goes in where the solenoid's did, and the body is then secured so it cannot swing against the frame or a cable. That is genuinely the whole installation. What fills the evening is the tank and, on most Ducatis, the airbox coming out first, which is why owners generally fit the cylinder head cover in the same session rather than repeating the access later.
Alongside an Aftermarket Exhaust
A different silencer changes what the exhaust gas is doing but not what the secondary air system injects into it, so the two are entirely separate decisions. Owners often make them in the same week, which is fine, but the mapping should follow both rather than sitting between them and being redone twice.
