DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ES 007 takes the PAIR solenoid out of the 300 SR's emissions plumbing and keeps the dashboard quiet about it.
Key Features
- CFMOTO 300 SR (2024)
- Removes the PAIR secondary air system
- Plug-and-play on the original connector
- No cutting and no splicing
- Suppresses the resulting dashboard fault code
- Fully reversible to standard
What PAIR Actually Does
A small pump feeds fresh air into the exhaust ports so that unburnt fuel finishes burning in the header rather than in the atmosphere. It is an emissions device and it does its job.
Why Anyone Removes It
Because that extra air in a hot header is also what produces the popping and banging on a closed throttle, and because it confuses any attempt to map the fuelling honestly.
The Code That Follows
Unplug the solenoid and the ECU notices immediately. This part presents the electrical load the controller expects, so the warning never appears and nothing is masked with tape over a lamp.
Road Legality
Removing emissions equipment takes a motorcycle out of its type approval. In most of Europe that makes it a track-only modification, and it is worth being clear about that before ordering.
A 292 cc Single
The 300 SR makes 29 horsepower in bodywork styled to look considerably faster. It is aimed at riders on a restricted licence and it is one of the better-finished small bikes in the class.
One Model Year
This fitment covers 2024. CFMOTO revises its range quickly and the 300 SR has already moved on, which makes the registration year the thing to check rather than the model name.
Nothing Cut
The unit uses the motorcycle's own connector. The loom is untouched, so the original solenoid can go back in before a sale or an inspection.
Fitted With the Block-Off
The solenoid eliminator handles the electrical half. The mechanical half — capping the port on the head — is a separate plate, and doing only one of the two leaves the job half done.
Twenty Minutes
Seat off, tank lifted, one connector swapped. It is among the simplest modifications anyone can make to a modern motorcycle and it is entirely reversible.
