The JP MJ 008 plugs into the Street Triple 675 RX's injector harness on its own connectors, leaving the loom untouched and the whole change reversible in a minute.

The Daytona Tail
Triumph fitted the RX with the supersport seat unit and a belly pan, producing the sharpest looking version of the 675 roadster.
An Evening's Work at Most
Seat off, tank lifted on some models, connectors separated, module plugged in and tied down. There is nothing to configure and nothing to learn afterwards, which is unusual for anything electronic on a motorcycle.
Vibration and Water
The module lives on a motorcycle and is built accordingly, sealed as a unit and secured rather than left hanging. Neither is remarkable; both are necessary.
A Component, Not a Project
Some tuning parts start a conversation that lasts a season. This one is fitted on a Sunday afternoon and then never thought about again, which for most owners is exactly the point.
Somewhere Dry and Secure
Under the seat on most bikes, occasionally under the tank. It needs to be where water does not sit and where the harness is not under tension when the suspension moves.
The Legal Note
Fuelling is part of the emissions approval in most of Europe. A modified mixture puts the machine outside its approved condition, and that is a local question with a local answer.
Track Days
On a circuit the throttle is either shut or open and the transition matters less than it does on a road. Riders who only ride circuits will notice this module least.
Vibration Is the Real Enemy
Electronics on a motorcycle fail from being shaken rather than from being wet. A body secured properly against a flat surface outlives one hanging on its own cable by years.
