The JP KS DU021 swaps the Streetfighter V4's lock barrel for a machined switch, which is the point at which a motorcycle stops being something you can park in a street.

Two Hundred Horsepower, No Fairing
Ducati stripped the Panigale V4 and had to add winglets to keep the front wheel down. It is an absurd motorcycle and a surprising number see circuits.
Reversible
The standard block refits on its own fasteners with its own connector. Keeping it in a labelled bag is the whole of the requirement.
Why Racing Machines Lose It
A bike that lives in a van and a garage has nothing to be stolen from and nobody waiting to turn a key. The lock is mass and complication.
The Original Goes in a Bag
Barrel, key, bracket and connector belong together. Refitting is twenty minutes and it needs all four.
Why a Lock Exists at All
It stops the wrong person riding away and it satisfies the registration rules. Both purposes disappear the moment a motorcycle stops being used on roads.
Storage
The original block belongs in a dry bag with its key. A seized barrel and a lost key together cost more than this part did.
Access Varies, Work Does Not
Some models expose the connector immediately, others need the tank lifted. The twenty minutes at the yoke are identical on all of them.
Which Bikes Have Two Versions
Some models are listed for a standard loom and again for a race harness. The difference is electrical and it is not a preference.
The Circuit It Breaks
The same one the key opened. Nothing is intercepted, nothing is emulated and the engine controller is never told anything unusual.
Why the Rating Is Worth Paying For
Race bikes are cleaned with hot water at close range, often within an hour of coming off a circuit. IP69K is the standard written for exactly that treatment, and a switch without it becomes intermittent in a season rather than a decade.
