Öhlins and a Shortened Action
The Factory's suspension was chosen for hard riding and a quick-action throttle follows the same logic. On a naked bike with 175 hp, reducing the wrist movement needed at full lean is a genuine gain.
The Kit Takes the Block
Fitting the throttle assembly generally leaves the original right-hand switch without a mounting. This unit restores it, alongside rather than instead of the new hardware.
A Steering Damper as Standard
Aprilia specified an Öhlins damper on the Factory rather than offering it. Wide bars, a short wheelbase and a light front wheel make that decision on the rider's behalf, and a sharper throttle only reinforces it.
Titanium Anodising
One finish only. It is a component chosen mid-conversion and matched to the throttle kits it accompanies rather than to the bodywork behind it.
Sealed to Military Specification
The elements are enclosed well beyond road requirements. On a bike with no fairing, ridden in whatever the weekend offers, that margin is what the block is actually buying.
Machined From Solid
A single block of Ergal 7075. The mounting is rigid, which matters when a control has to be found and pressed against airflow at speeds a Tuono reaches without effort.
Explicitly Additional
This does not replace an existing switch block. It supplements one, and that is the most common misunderstanding attached to the part number.
The Motorcycle's Own Plug
Pre-wired, so nothing is spliced into the harness. The whole conversion comes off as cleanly as it went on when the bike is returned to standard.
Very Little Left on the List
Öhlins at both ends, forged wheels, Brembo calipers and a full electronics package leave an owner with few meaningful upgrades remaining. The throttle action and the components around it are among the last places where a visible difference can still be made without touching how the motorcycle runs.
