IN2002Y is the right-hand half of the pair that holds the R9's belly pan. Both brackets are needed; a pan hung on one side is not a fitted pan.

Scrutineering Cares About This Part
The belly pan exists to retain engine oil, and a containment volume only contains anything if it stays attached to the motorcycle. That is the argument for treating both brackets as safety hardware rather than as trim: an official looking at the bike will push on the pan, and one that moves is a conversation nobody wants at eleven on a Saturday morning. Check the fasteners at the same time as tyre pressures rather than at the same time as the annual service.
Pressure Washers and Stainless
Race bikes get washed hard and often, usually with a pressure washer and something alkaline, and the underside of the machine takes the worst of it. That combination strips plated coatings from ordinary steel fixings within a season, and once the coating is gone the fastener corrodes into its thread and the quick-release mounting stops being quick. Stainless simply does not participate in that process. It is the cheapest part of the kit and the one least likely to cause an argument in two years.
Easy to Forget in an Order
Brackets are the parts that get left off a first order, because the panels are what people are thinking about. If the bodywork arrives and the pan cannot go on, the bike does not run — so it is worth checking the order against the panel list before it is placed rather than after.
