DescriptionThe whole story▼
Developed directly from SC-Project's Moto2 World Championship programme, the CR-T slip-on silencer for the Honda CBR 1000 RR (2017–2019) is a racing exhaust built for riders who accept no compromise. Classified strictly for racing use only, it carries the uncompromising engineering that defines SC-Project's top-tier catalogue — TIG-welded titanium fittings, CNC-machined titanium bushings, and a 70 mm outlet engineered for maximum exhaust flow. Note: this system holds no road homologation and must not be used on public roads.
Key Features
- Racing-use classification — purpose-built for closed-circuit competition, not road use
- Power gains of +2.5 hp at 7,200 rpm and +2.6 Nm torque at 6,900 rpm over the stock system
- Significant weight reduction: SC-Project unit weighs 0.95 kg versus 3.3 kg stock — a saving of 2.35 kg
- Choice of carbon or titanium silencer body, each delivering an aggressive racing aesthetic and extreme lightness
- Optional titanium flame mesh (Mesh variant) for an authentic MotoGP-spec outlet appearance
- TIG-welded titanium link pipe and CNC-machined titanium bushings for precision fitment and optimised exhaust flow
- SC-Project laser-engraved logo and 24-month official manufacturer guarantee
Performance & Construction
The CR-T draws its lineage from SC-Project's involvement in the Moto2 World Championship, and that heritage is evident in every detail. The titanium link pipe routes exhaust gases efficiently, reducing heat build-up and contributing to the system's remarkable weight saving. TIG-welded titanium components ensure structural integrity under sustained high-rpm racing loads, while the CNC-machined titanium bushings deliver a precise, rattle-free installation every time.
The 70 mm outlet diameter is calibrated for maximum exhaust scavenging, generating the measured power and torque increases across the mid-range where circuit riding demands them most. Without a dB killer fitted, the CR-T produces the full, deep racing note associated with SC-Project's MotoGP-derived systems — raw, purposeful and unmistakable.
Carbon or Titanium — Choose Your Variant
The CR-T is available in two silencer materials. The carbon version combines a natural-weave carbon fibre body with titanium hardware for the lowest possible weight and a striking visual contrast. The titanium version offers a uniform metallic finish with the same structural performance. Both variants are available with or without the titanium flame mesh at the outlet, giving four distinct configurations across the H15A-HT36 part number range.
Important Safety & Legal Notice
This exhaust system is designed and approved for racing use only (FOR RACING USE ONLY). It carries no road homologation, does not meet noise or emissions regulations for public road use, and must not be fitted to any motorcycle operated on public roads. Fitment is the sole responsibility of the owner or installing workshop.
