Öhlins winds, heat-sets and measures each spring, so the rate on the label is the rate fitted.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 00544-01

What It Is

Öhlins publishes no separate dimension for this position, so the part number carries the identity. Free length and inner diameter decide fit; the rate decides behaviour. Springs are the cheapest suspension part and the one that decides the most. A settled spring lowers the machine without anyone changing a setting.

Genuine Service Part

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on.

Identifying the Right Part

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 00544-01. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Free length and inner diameter decide fit; the rate decides behaviour. Springs are the cheapest suspension part and the one that decides the most.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00544-01

Category: Springs

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00544-01_4eb20bda-c323-46c3-b7ee-577fa1133097.png?v=1788872218
