DescriptionThe whole story▼

The XSR900 GP brings back the look of the 1980s Grand Prix bikes, with a half fairing and clip-on bars over the 890 cc triple. Its riders lean forward more than on the other XSR models. This AS31GT3 rearset for the Yamaha XSR900 GP of 2024 to 2025 lets them balance that position with the legs.

Key Features

  • Standard or reversed (race) shift pattern
  • 7 defined peg positions
  • Brake and shift levers on double ball bearings, free of play
  • Pedal length adjustable to your boot
  • CNC-machined 7075 aluminium
  • Part type approval TTG 101710 lists this model

Clip-ons need the right pegs

With lower bars, the rider's upper body leans forward, and the legs have to carry more of the load to keep weight off the wrists. Moving the pegs up to 30 mm back helps the hips follow the upper body, which makes the GP's position more natural over a long ride.

Light and precise

The system weighs 460 g on the left and 516 g on the right. It is machined from 7075 aluminium, the levers turn on double ball bearings, and the shift pattern can be standard or reversed, in keeping with the bike's racing theme.

Road Approval

Approval for the Yamaha XSR900 GP comes from two documents. Part type approval TTG 101710 lists the model and works like an ABE, without an inspection, provided the system carries its mark. The TÜV parts certificate 144XT0025 covers the same combination and requires an acceptance inspection straight after fitting. Which one applies is shown by the marking on the part.

Scope of Delivery

Left and right units are supplied complete with adapter plates, peg carriers with footpegs, brake pedal and shift lever with linkage. The box also contains the fitting instructions and the approval document.
