DescriptionThe whole story▼
Seven point one kilograms. That is what leaves an Aprilia RSV4 when the 11.6 kg standard system is replaced by this one, and 4.5 kg is what remains — 61.2 per cent gone. Power rises from 203.4 PS to 211.4 PS. The Evolution Line (Titanium) S-A10E10-RT is a closed-course system and it does not pretend otherwise.
Key Features
- 4.5 kg against the standard 11.6 kg: 7.1 kg and 61.2 per cent less mass
- 7.8 PS (5.7 kW) more at 12,500 rpm and 6.4 Nm more at 10,000 rpm, measured back to back against a standard RSV4 on the Akrapovic dyno
- Peak output 211.4 PS against the standard 203.4 PS
- High-grade titanium muffler outer sleeve with a carbon fibre end cap; link pipe and inner muffler structure fully titanium
- Headers and collectors in high-grade titanium alloy — the whole gas path is titanium, which is where the 61 per cent comes from
- Noise insert supplied
- Fits the RSV4 and both Tuono V4 1100 versions
Two Conditions, Not Suggestions
Akrapovic states that this system requires mandatory remapping and removal of the passenger footrests. Neither is optional. Budget a dyno session, and accept that the bike becomes a single-seater.
Installation is quoted at around five hours. That is realistic for a full titanium system on a V4 where the headers, collectors and link pipe all come off with the muffler.
A Note on the Published Figures
Akrapovic's marketing copy for this system quotes a 44 per cent weight saving and gains of 5.4 hp and 3.8 Nm. Their own structured measurement record says 61.2 per cent, 7.8 PS and 6.4 Nm — and that record is internally consistent, because 11.6 kg minus 4.5 kg is 7.1 kg, which is 61.2 per cent. The figures on this page are the measurement record.
The noise data for this part is not usable: the manufacturer's record lists a standard level of minus two decibels, which is not a physical value. Rather than publish a comparison built on a broken field, this page carries no sound figure at all. A closed-course titanium system on a 1,100 cc V4 is loud, and that is as much as can honestly be said.
Fitment and Compatibility
S-A10E10-RT covers the Aprilia RSV4, the Tuono V4 1100 and the Tuono V4 1100 Factory from model year 2021 through 2026. An optional titanium track day link pipe, L-A10E13/TD, is available separately.
Road Approval
None. This product does not meet emission compliance requirements for street or highway use and was developed for closed-course competition circuits. Fitting it to a road-registered motorcycle is the owner's legal responsibility.
