DescriptionThe whole story▼
Ducati built this model and the related Hyperstrada 821 and 939 on shared brake hardware, so this five-hose Accossato kit, following the Standard layout, fits all three across their overlapping production years from 2013. The routing is unchanged from the factory pattern, with every rubber hose replaced one for one by a braided stainless equivalent regardless of which of the three badges is fitted.
Key Features
- Five-hose set shared by the Hypermotard 821 and the Hyperstrada 821 and 939
- Standard (S) layout matching the stock routing on all three models
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings throughout, no painted option on this kit
- Firmer, more consistent lever feel than the original rubber hoses
- Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hoses
Construction and Material Quality
The five hoses are built the way every kit in this range is: a woven stainless braid over the pressure line, finished with plain stainless fittings rather than a painted option. All twenty sheath colours are offered on this application, so a wide finishing choice is still available even though the end fittings stay in their natural stainless tone.
A Shared Brake Circuit Across Three Models
Because this Hypermotard and both Hyperstrada models all use the same brake-line layout underneath their different bodywork, Accossato lists one kit rather than three separate parts; fitting it is identical regardless of which of the three model names is on the tank. A separate three-hose Full-length kit exists for the non-ABS 2013-2015 Hypermotard 821 specifically, which uses a different routing from the one here, so a workshop needs to know which layout the customer wants before ordering parts.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the Ducati Hypermotard 821 sold between 2013 and 2018, and the same part also covers the Hyperstrada 821 (2013–2016) and Hyperstrada 939 (2013–2018). A separate Full-length kit, AGA0030, exists for the non-ABS 2013-2015 model only; check the Fitment tab to confirm which fits your exact model and year, since the Full-length version uses a different hose count and routing from this Standard kit.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
5 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Check hollow bolts and sealing washers against the motorcycle before fitting, since these connecting parts are not necessarily included.
