Half the weight of the standard silencer, a carbon end cap and a carbon heat shield, and a Euro 5+ certificate. Spark's Konix Evo is the sharpest thing you can bolt to a CB750 Hornet and keep its papers.
Key Features
- Euro 5+ approved slip-on for the Honda CB750 Hornet, 2023 to 2026.
- Konix Evo silencer in titanium with a carbon fibre end cap.
- Carbon fibre heat shield included.
- 1,9 kg against 3,8 kg standard — Spark states 48 per cent lighter.
- Made in Italy.
- Same 737 euro as the dark stainless version.
Exactly Half
1,9 kg against a standard 3,8. Spark rounds it to 48 per cent and the arithmetic holds — half the mass of the original silencer, taken off the highest and most rearward point of a motorcycle that weighs 190 kg with fuel.
On a middleweight naked that is the single most effective weight change available to an owner, and it is the reason a slip-on is worth fitting to a Hornet at all rather than just a louder exhaust.
Titanium and Two Carbon Parts
The case is titanium; the end cap and the heat shield are carbon fibre. Spark ties both carbon parts to the Hornet's own lines rather than treating them as accessories, and on a bike with a tail unit drawn this sharply a bolted-on steel shield would look exactly like one.
Titanium also keeps its shape through the heat cycling a silencer sees, which is what separates it from a thin-wall steel case that eventually goes out of round at the clamp.
The Konix Evo Shape
Konix Evo is the angular one in Spark's range: flat flanks tapering to a sharply contoured carbon cap instead of a rolled tube. It is the newest evolution of Spark's design language and it matches the Hornet's hard edges better than a round case would.
Euro 5+ Out of the Box
The approval is Euro 5+, the current standard rather than the one before it, and it covers the slip-on as supplied. No remap, no additional hardware, and no compromise in the paperwork.
Titanium or Dark, Same Price
Spark builds this silencer in two surfaces at 737 euro each: titanium, which is this article, and dark electro-coloured stainless steel as GHO0202DOM. The decision is purely how you want the motorcycle to look.
What Comes Off
The Hornet's standard silencer is a large steel can with a pressed heat shield, sized around the noise and emissions limits rather than around the bike. Spark replaces it and its connecting pipe; the manifold and the catalytic converter stay exactly as Honda built them.
That is what keeps the Euro 5+ approval valid and what keeps the fitting to an hour with hand tools.
Made in Italy, and Spark Says Where
Spark builds in Mantova and puts it on the product. The titanium case, the TIG work and the carbon parts all come out of the same factory, which in this price bracket is rarer than the marketing suggests.
Fitment & Compatibility
Honda CB750 Hornet, 2023 to 2026. The dark stainless version of the same silencer is GHO0202DOM at the same price.
Road Approval
EC type-approved to Euro 5+. Spark supplies the homologation certificate with the part.
