DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ES 007 is a passive part for the Panigale 959: no power, no software and nothing to configure, just the value the controller reads as a healthy valve.
Key Features
- Ducati Panigale 959 (2016–2019)
- Takes the secondary air solenoid out of the circuit
- No warning on the instrument panel
- Plugs into Ducati's own connector
- Nothing cut, nothing spliced
- Standard valve refits at any time
A Hundred and Ninety-Five Kilograms
Wet, which is heavier than the 899 it replaced because of the emissions hardware. Removing some of that is why parts like this exist.
Nothing Stored
Because the self-test passes rather than being circumvented, no code waits in memory for a dealer to find at the next service.
A V4 Sounds Different Again
Four closely spaced pulses fill the header continuously, and the crackle sits on top of an already busy note. It is quieter in character and no less present.
Nothing Coded
No adaptation, no reset and no dealer appointment. The circuit reads correctly from the first ignition cycle and the display behaves as before.
Check the Market Specification
Not every machine in every market carries the full arrangement. Five minutes with a torch under the tank settles it before anything is ordered.
Why the Aftermarket Bothers
Because the fault is common, the fix is simple and the manufacturer has no reason to offer one. It is what a good aftermarket part is for.
Somewhere to Put the Panels
The most underrated preparation for a job of this kind, and the difference between a clean workshop and a scratched fairing.
Keeping the Motorcycle Reversible
Nothing is cut, soldered, drilled or bent. The standard solenoid refits on its own two fasteners with its own connector, and the whole reversal takes about as long as the original fitting did. That property is what makes the difference at an emissions inspection, at a warranty conversation, and in front of a buyer who knows what to look for under the tank.
Fitted at a Service, Not Between Ones
The tank has to come off for several routine jobs, and the eliminator takes twenty minutes once it is off. Doing this at the same time as a filter, a coolant change or a set of belts is straightforward; doing it on its own is an evening spent almost entirely on bodywork.
