DescriptionThe whole story▼
The new F800GS of 2024 is BMW's middleweight adventure bike for riders who want an approachable, light GS. This RCT shift lever for the BMW F800GS from 2024 on replaces the standard lever with an adjustable, machined one with a rubberised tread.
Key Features
- Ball-bearing pivot, free of play
- Hard-anodised CNC-machined aluminium
- Colours matched to other Gilles parts
- Fully adjustable
- Rubberised tread
- Road legal in Germany under ABE No. KBA 91249
Shifting in any boot
The shift lever is fully adjustable, so its tip can be placed where your boot reaches it naturally, whether you ride in touring boots or in off-road boots. The rubberised tread makes the contact comfortable and secure.
A colour scheme that matches
The lever is hard-anodised and CNC-machined, and its colour scheme is designed to match other Gilles components for this motorcycle. It runs on ball bearings without play.
A first upgrade for a new rider
Many F800GS owners are new to adventure riding and still finding their preferred boots and stance. An adjustable shift lever can follow those changes, so the lever keeps fitting as your riding develops instead of being replaced.
Road Approval
The shift lever holds ABE No. KBA 91249 for the BMW F800GS. Follow the fitting instructions and nothing has to be inspected or entered; the approval is written for an otherwise standard motorcycle. Print the certificate from the download above and keep it on the bike.
Scope of Delivery
Supplied as a single shift lever, ready to fit, with the fitting instructions. The ABE certificate is included.
