DescriptionThe whole story▼
Born on the pit wall of the Moto2 Championship and proven across Moto3 and WorldSBK grids, these carbon brake disc covers from TK Dischi Freno are now available for track-day and racing use on the Ducati Panigale V4 R. Engineered to channel airflow directly into the brake caliper pistons, they actively manage brake temperatures under the extreme thermal loads generated at racing pace — giving you consistent bite lap after lap.
Key Features
- Race-pedigree design developed and tested in the Moto2 Championship, proven in Moto3 and WorldSBK competition.
- Precision airflow management directs cooling air into the caliper pistons, reducing brake temperature during sustained hard braking on track.
- Exclusive Carrier Technology for optimised fitment and structural integrity under racing conditions.
- Hand-crafted from premium aluminium and carbon for the ideal balance of rigidity and low rotating mass.
- Sold as a complete set — left and right covers included — for straightforward installation.
- ABS and wheel speed sensors remain fully compatible; no signal interference.
Race-Proven Construction
Each cover is hand-built using high-grade aluminium combined with carbon fibre, a pairing that keeps unsprung weight in check while delivering the thermal and structural resilience demanded by professional race teams. The proprietary Carrier Technology ensures the covers seat positively on TK Dischi Freno brake discs without play or vibration, even under the repeated thermal cycling of a full race distance. The finish and tolerances reflect the same standard supplied to championship-level teams — this is not a cosmetic accessory.
Track Use and Thermal Management
High-performance brake discs on the Panigale V4 R generate enormous heat under repeated heavy braking. Without directed airflow, caliper piston temperatures rise to the point where brake fluid begins to vapourise, causing fade precisely when you need the most feel and modulation. These covers redirect the incoming airstream into the caliper body, keeping fluid temperatures in a safe operating range and preserving pedal firmness throughout a full track session. They are designed exclusively for closed-circuit use and must not be fitted for road riding.
Fitment & Compatibility
These carbon brake disc covers are exclusively compatible with TK Dischi Freno brake discs fitted to the Ducati Panigale V4 R (model years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024). They will not fit OEM or third-party discs. ABS and wheel speed sensor operation is unaffected.
