Black Anodised Aluminium

Anodising converts the surface of the aluminium rather than covering it, so a black cap stays black at the machined edges where a coating would wear through first. It also stays matt. Next to raw titanium the contrast is quiet - dark grey against pale grey - and it is the reason this is the version most owners pick when the bike is already loud to look at.

Euro5+, Not a Track Part

The whole Dyno range for this motorcycle is built around the current regulation. Spark states compliance with Euro 5+ and keeps the standard catalytic converter in the system, so the kit is a road exhaust that happens to look like a race one - not a race exhaust sold with a caveat.

That distinction is the one worth checking before ordering any high-mount twin silencer kit. Here it is settled.

Middle of Three

Spark offers the identical kit in three finishes and prices them apart: 1,154 euro for carbon end caps, 1,177 for these black ones, 1,298 for orange. Twenty-three euro separates black from carbon, and the carbon version is also a hundred grams lighter. If weight is the argument, the carbon wins; if you want the outlet to disappear, this one does it better.

The Milled Face

Whatever colour it ends up, the cap is machined the same way: perforated to take weight out, with different radii cut on the inside and the outside of the face. Spark runs the silencer's bottom plate on a five-axis CNC, which is what makes that kind of finishing economic at all.

Installation

Slip-on level. The kit connects to the original catalytic manifold with stainless-steel fittings and junction, so the catalytic converter stays on the motorcycle. Spark supplies the holders and all mounting parts needed to fit it with the passenger footrests in place, and also includes the holders for running the bike without them.

Care: do not clean with aggressive products. Degreasers and car-wash chemicals attack the anodised and machined surfaces.

Fitment & Compatibility

KTM 790 Duke, 890 Duke, 890 Duke L and 890 Duke R, 2018 to 2024. Orange end caps are GKT0119TOMA and carbon end caps GKT0119TOMC. The previous Grid-O generation is GKT0110TOM at 215 mm, GKT0115TOM at 175 mm, and GKT0110T without approval.

Road Approval

Homologated to Euro5+. The standard catalytic converter remains fitted and Spark lists the article as approved.
