DescriptionThe whole story▼
The race left cluster for the current 790 Duke, with the road controls removed and the housing machined from solid.
Key Features
- KTM 790 Duke (2025–2026)
- Reduced race control set
- Black, titanium or orange anodising
- CNC-milled Ergal 7075
- Sealed switch elements
- Plug-and-play on the original connector
Light Enough to Be Quick
The 790 Duke's reputation rests on how little it weighs and how immediately it changes direction. On a tight circuit that matters more than the 105 hp does, and it is why these motorcycles turn up at track days in numbers.
Cheap Enough to Convert
A used 790 costs little enough that turning one into a dedicated track bike is a reasonable proposition. Stripping the road equipment is the first step and the switchgear goes with the lights.
What the Reduced Set Gains
Space between the controls that remain. A thumb searching by feel counts down the housing, and every redundant position is one more thing to skip past when there is no time to look.
Standard Loom
KTM's own connector and the factory ECU. No aftermarket harness or external dashboard is required, so the riding modes and traction control continue to function and the bike stays diagnosable.
Naked Bikes Land Early
There is no fairing to slide on. The bar end and the switch reach the ground almost immediately, and Ergal scuffs where a clipped moulding splits at the clamp and has to be bought again.
Three Anodised Finishes
Black, titanium and orange, all converted into the surface. Black is the usual choice on a race-prepared machine, on the reasoning that a cockpit should draw no attention at all.
Sealed Contacts
Elements sealed inside a one-piece milled body. Track bikes are washed hot after every session, and there is no moulded joint anywhere for the water to exploit.
