DescriptionThe whole story▼
Crafted from 100% genuine carbon fibre and finished to a standard that reflects Fullsix's deep roots in motorsport, this rear brake line cover for the Ducati Panigale 1299/S transforms a functional component into a statement of intent. Available in your choice of weave and surface finish, it integrates seamlessly into the Panigale's aggressive lines while delivering real-world protection for the rear brake line.
Key Features
- 100% genuine carbon fibre construction — exceptionally light, rigid and resistant to fatigue
- Holds German ABE type approval, making it fully road-legal without any additional paperwork
- Available in two weave patterns: 200 Plain (mirrors the OEM Ducati carbon aesthetic) and 245 Twill (a more pronounced, sporting weave character)
- Choice of three surface finishes — glossy, matte or satin — to suit your build
- Direct plug-and-play replacement for the original part; no drilling, cutting or modification required
- UV-stable and weather-resistant — the finish will not yellow or degrade with exposure
Design, Finish and Heritage
Fullsix has been engineering carbon fibre components for performance motorcycles for years, and that heritage shows in every detail of this rear brake line cover. The 200 Plain weave is deliberately chosen to match the factory Ducati carbon pattern, so the cover sits on the Panigale as though it left the Bologna factory that way. If you prefer something that announces itself more boldly, the 245 Twill weave carries a distinctive diamond-pattern character that reads as unambiguously aftermarket.
The three finish options extend the customisation further. A glossy lacquer gives a deep, wet-look sheen that catches the light on both road and paddock. The matte finish is understated and contemporary, absorbing reflections rather than broadcasting them. Satin sits between the two — enough sheen to reveal the weave without the full mirror effect of gloss. Whichever you choose, the underlying carbon is the same high-grade material used in Fullsix's motorsport programmes.
Protection and Practicality
Beyond aesthetics, this cover performs a straightforward but important job: shielding the rear brake line from road debris, grit, stone strikes and the elements. The Panigale 1299's rear brake line runs in an exposed position where contamination and abrasion are genuine concerns over time. This cover addresses that without adding meaningful weight or complicating future brake line servicing. Installation is a direct swap for the original cover — if you can change the OEM part, you can fit this.
