DescriptionThe whole story▼

A Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC is often chosen by riders who want one bike for everything: commuting, touring and the odd unmade road, in any weather. For those owners Accossato offers the AGPA92 rear pad in the Sintered compound, listed for the XC from 2019 to 2023. It is designed to give a constant pedal feel through rain and cold and to cope with the extra load of luggage and a passenger.

Key Features

  • Rear pad set AGPA92 for the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC, 2019 to 2023
  • Sintered compound, reference AGPA92ST
  • Accossato: high grip that holds steady across temperatures
  • Reliable in wet conditions
  • Consistent pedal with luggage
  • Suits all-season, all-purpose riding
  • Other compounds on this plate: OR, EV1, EV2, ZXC
  • No approval documents, competition use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato says the Sintered compound keeps a high, constant grip at low and high temperatures and performs well in the wet. On the rear of an XC that is used for everything, that consistency means the pedal behaves the same on a wet commute, a dusty track and a long, warm descent.

One Bike for Every Season

Owners who rely on a single motorcycle need brakes that do not have favourite conditions. The rear of an XC sees rain, road salt, dust and heat over the course of a year. A sintered pad keeps its bite through all of that. With panniers and a passenger on board, the rear brake does more work, and a compound that does not fade easily on long descents is reassuring. It is the practical rear compound for year-round, all-purpose riding, whether the day ends at the office car park or a campsite at the end of a dusty lane.

Seasonal Care

After winter rides, rinse salt from the rear caliper. When fitting new pads, clean the pistons before retracting them, check the disc, change old fluid and pump the pedal until firm. Bed the pads in on a dry road.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato matches AGPA92 to the rear of the Scrambler 1200 XC for 2019 through 2023 and lists the DK203 disc for the same bike. The sheet names no front pad for the XC. One box equips the rear caliper completely.

Road Approval

AGPA92ST has no ABE or German approval certificate in our records. We supply it for competition use.

Scope of Delivery

Two Sintered rear pads for a single caliper.
