DescriptionThe whole story▼

A lot of KX450 riding never happens at a race. It happens at the local practice track on a Wednesday evening, at a coaching session, or on a quiet loop behind a friend's farm. Accossato's AGPA29 front pad in the Organic mixture is made for the Kawasaki KX450 of model years 2024 to 2026 and suits exactly that kind of rider: someone who logs plenty of hours, wants a smooth and forgiving lever and would rather not replace the front disc every season.

Key Features

  • Front pads AGPA29 for the Kawasaki KX450, 2024 to 2026
  • Organic mixture, SKU AGPA29OR
  • Accossato: long service life, limited disc wear
  • Soft initial bite that is easy to modulate
  • Quiet on practice days
  • Suits coaching sessions and newer riders
  • Same plate also offered as ST, STMX and EV1
  • No ABE on file with us; for competition use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes this compound in two short promises: it keeps working for a long time and it goes easy on the disc. On the current KX450, where practice hours add up quickly, that combination translates into fewer pad swaps and a rotor that stays flat and serviceable for longer. The maker also points out that its pads are built to stay relatively cool, which limits fade, while still producing strong stopping force. The friction material sits on the regular AGPA29 backing plate.

Practice Hours on the New-Generation KX

The 2024 update gave the KX450 a fresh chassis, and many owners spend their first months simply learning it. Laps at a steady pace, drills on a single corner, repeated starts: the front brake works constantly but rarely at its limit. An Organic front set fits that pattern well. It grips from the very first lap without needing heat, the lever moves in proportion to the rider's hand and there is little risk of an abrupt lock on a slick berm.

For a teenager moving up from a smaller bike, or an adult returning to motocross after a long break, that predictable response builds confidence. Wash the bike with the wheels in place but keep the pressure washer away from the caliper seals, and check the pad depth whenever you change the air filter.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPA29 for the front of the Kawasaki KX450 from 2024 to 2026. Earlier KX450 models from 2019 to 2023 take AGPA51 instead, and the rear of the bike uses AGPP106. The Accossato disc catalogued for this machine is DK060. One box is one set for one caliper; hold the old pads against the new ones before fitting.

Road Approval

We do not hold an ABE or any German test certificate for AGPA29OR. It is offered for motorsport and closed-course use.

Scope of Delivery

One pair of Organic front pads, enough for a single caliper.
