DescriptionThe whole story▼

Riders spend hours on slow-riding exercises while training for their licence, and most never practise them again. Yet slow control is what makes a naked bike like the Street Triple 765 S easy to live with in car parks, junctions and tight turns, and it depends mostly on the clutch hand. For the S of 2017 to 2019, Accossato offers the EST333P, a clutch lever machined from aluminium that fits the original clutch mounting and can be set closer to or further from the grip.

Key Features

  • Clutch lever for the Street Triple 765 S from 2017 to 2019
  • Takes the place of the stock lever at the original clutch mounting
  • Distance to the grip adjustable
  • Blade colours: green, gold, orange, blue, silver, red and black
  • Standard approximately 138 mm; short in five colours, long in four
  • CNC-machined aluminium with anodised finish and black hub
  • Fixed, one-piece construction

Construction and Material Quality

The EST333P is produced by CNC machining aluminium and anodising the finished part. The black hub contains the pivot and the reach adjuster, while the blade is anodised in your chosen colour. The lever has no folding joint and is fixed along its length. That gives the friction zone a stable, repeatable place in the lever's travel, which is exactly what slow-riding practice relies on.

Slow Riding Drills

Three exercises cover most of what slow control needs. The first is a straight line at the slowest speed you can manage, with the clutch slipping, a steady throttle and the rear brake dragging lightly to stabilise the bike. The second is a figure of eight between two markers, turning your head to look where you want to go. The third is a U-turn within the width of a quiet road or a car park, at full lock. In all three, the clutch sets the speed while the throttle stays constant, and the front brake stays untouched, since using it at full lock can tip the bike over. Before starting on the Street Triple 765 S, set the EST333P so that the friction zone lies within easy reach of your curled fingers, and wear your usual gloves. Ten minutes of practice every few weeks keeps the skill fresh, and it carries straight over into traffic, where holding a slow, steady pace is often the safer option.

Fitment and Compatibility

This lever is listed by Accossato for the Street Triple 765 S across 2017 to 2019 and replaces the original clutch lever. On the brake side the list offers two levers for the same bike and years, the EDF014 and the EDF035; compare your brake lever with the photos of both before ordering one to match.

Road Approval

No ABE for German roads is documented for this lever, so it is sold for track use.
