DescriptionThe whole story▼

The newest Bonneville Black on Accossato's list for this lever is now more than a decade old, and many have passed through several owners. Levers are among the first parts to show that history: a tip bent when the bike toppled over in a car park, a pivot worn loose, a finish scratched through to bare metal. The Accossato EST333 is a new clutch lever for the Triumph Bonneville, listed for the Bonneville Black from 2006 to 2015. It is machined from aluminium, fits at the original clutch mounting and comes with a reach adjuster.

Key Features

  • Clutch lever for the Triumph Bonneville Black, 2006 to 2015
  • Replaces a worn or bent original at the stock clutch mounting
  • Reach adjuster near the pivot
  • Machined aluminium, anodised; black hub, coloured blade
  • Seven colours: black, silver, gold, orange, red, green, blue
  • Standard length approximately 138 mm; short and long depending on colour
  • Rigid one-piece construction

Construction and Material Quality

This lever is produced on CNC machines from aluminium and then anodised, which leaves the hub black and the blade in the colour you choose. The anodic layer is harder than the bare metal beneath it and cannot flake like a painted finish, so the lever will not look tired after a few seasons. As a fixed design, the EST333 has no folding joint. Hub and blade are one piece, and the only bearing surface is the pivot, which is exactly where worn original levers tend to develop their play.

Refreshing an Older Bonneville

When you buy a used Bonneville, look closely at the controls. A clutch lever that has hit the ground once may still work, but it can sit at a slightly different angle, so the bite point moves and the hand never quite settles. A worn pivot lets the blade wobble, which makes slow-speed control vague. Replacing the lever is one of the simplest ways to make an older bike feel tidy again, and it is a good moment to check the rest of the system: with the lever pulled in, the clutch should free completely, and when you let go it should engage fully without slipping. Once the EST333 is on, set the reach to your own hand instead of accepting where the previous owner left things. The colour is your decision too; black keeps the Bonneville Black's dark theme, while silver offers a quieter contrast.

Fitment and Compatibility

The EST333 appears in Accossato's list for the Bonneville Black from 2006 to 2015. For the other Bonneville 900 versions of those years, including the EFI bikes, Accossato lists a different clutch lever, the ESC777, so compare your original with the product photos of both before ordering. On the right side of the bar, the EDF014 brake lever covers the Bonneville from 2006 to 2016. The EST333 takes the place of the stock clutch blade and uses the original mounting.

Road Approval

Road use in Germany is not covered, since no ABE is documented. The lever is sold for the track.
