Spark's first catalogue article, back in the nineties, was built for the original carburettor Monster. The company is from Mantua, it has been working on Ducatis since the beginning, and when the 937 arrived it wanted something specific for it rather than an adapted part. The Dyno is what came out.

A Round Case and a Machined Cap

The design puts two things next to each other that do not usually meet: the plain round titanium case that Spark has been drawing since the nineties, and an end cap machined on a five-axis mill. The cap is the piece that decides how the silencer reads from a few metres away, and it is where the three versions of this article differ.

This one wears carbon. It is the lightest of the three at 2,1 kg — a hundred grams under the anodised aluminium versions — and it is also the cheapest, at 1.188 euro against 1.261.

Two Horsepower Without Touching Anything Else

Spark attributes the gain to the internal diameters and the sizing of the outlets rather than to any restriction being removed. The figure applies to the Euro5 approved article as supplied — no remap, no de-cat, no insert to take out.

That is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly: most slip-ons that claim power on a Euro5 twin do it by giving up the approval. This one does not.

One Kilo Off the Tail

The standard pair weighs 3,0 kg. The Spark pair weighs 2,1. Most of that difference is the titanium case replacing a steel one, and it comes off high and far back on a bike that is already light — the Monster 937 is not a machine where a kilo disappears unnoticed.

Washing It

Spark is specific about care, and it is worth reading before the first wash. No aggressive products: no degreaser, no car shampoo of the kind that strips wax. Water and a rinse. Titanium and a machined carbon cap will take a long life of heat cycles; they will not take a solvent.

Ducati Monster 937, 2021 to 2025. The same slip-on with a black anodised aluminium cap is GDU0839TOMN, and with a red one GDU0839TOMR. Spark also builds a titanium primary pipe, GDU8526, and a titanium de-cat racing collector, GDU8527, both of which can be combined with these silencers.
