Touring Two Up on 175 Horsepower
The GT carries a passenger and luggage and still accelerates like the naked bike it derives from. That combination asks a great deal of the front brake, which is why owners who tour loaded frequently revise the master cylinder.
Which Is Where the Offset Appears
An aftermarket radial cylinder fitted for lever feel usually places its clamp bolts differently from KTM's own. That is the commonest origin of a stepped geometry on a GT, and it is what this drilling exists for.
Checking Rather Than Assuming
Look at the clamp half currently fitted. One bolt ahead of the other means offset. It is a five-second observation and it prevents the single most frequent ordering error in this part of the catalogue.
Semi-Active Damping
The 2019 GT adjusts its WP units continuously, which on a bike whose load varies between solo and fully laden with a passenger covers a range no static setting could reasonably span.
Hours on the Controls
Cruise control, riding modes, the screen and the display, worked repeatedly across whole days. It is repetition rather than abuse, and it is why touring machines wear out their switchgear ahead of everything else on the bike.
Sealed Against Long Rain
Elements sealed inside a body milled from one block. Water tracks along the handlebar behind a fairing just as it does on a naked bike, and the seam of a clipped assembly is where it eventually gets in.
Two Anodised Finishes
Black and orange, through the surface. On a cockpit carrying a large display, a screen adjuster and several mounts, black is the option that stays out of the way.
