Both Halves at Once
The eliminator for the monitored circuit and two blanks for the cylinder heads. On a motorcycle of this age, taking the tank off once rather than twice matters more than it does on a new bike.
An Engine Worth Keeping Honest
The original V4 responds well to fuelling work, and a great many of these bikes are running maps written years after they left the factory. Those maps are only as good as the readings they were built from.
Ninety-Nine Point Six
Aprilia held the capacity there until 2015 and found everything else in intake and camshaft work. It is an engine that rewards attention to detail rather than displacement.
Ageing Reeds
After more than a decade of heat cycles the reeds are past their useful life whether or not they have failed. Removing them is one fewer thing to diagnose later.

Seat, tank, hoses, housings, blanks, connector. Ordinary tools throughout and nothing to reset.

The V4 carries the arrangement twice and the kit contains two blanks.
A Brittle Harness Deserves Care
On a motorcycle this old, a part that plugs in and cuts nothing is worth considerably more than the price difference over an improvised solution.

The system is part of the approval and removing it ends road legality in Europe.

Parts Are Getting Scarce
Aprilia stopped supporting some of the early V4 components years ago, and reed housings in serviceable condition are among them. Replacing a perishable plastic assembly with aluminium removes a future problem rather than only a present one.
