The JP MJ 008 corrects what a homologation map costs the Thruxton 900 at part throttle, which is where almost all road riding actually takes place.

The Air-Cooled One
Before the water-cooled 1200 arrived, the Thruxton used the air-cooled 865 cc twin with carburettor-style throttle bodies.
Response Rather Than Power
The manufacturer's claim is throttle response and smoothness, not horsepower. Anybody expecting a figure on a dyno sheet has misread the product. What changes is how the engine answers a small movement of the hand, which is where most riding actually happens.
No Laptop Required
JetPrime works out the curve for that engine and ships it in the module. There is no software to install, no cable to buy and no afternoon spent learning an interface, which is the entire point of the preset version.
Model-Specific Wiring
JetPrime supplies the harness for the chosen motorcycle with the correct connectors moulded on. It is the part of the product that costs the most to develop and the part nobody thinks about.
Consumption, Honestly
No meaningful change either way. Anybody who reports a large difference has changed their riding at the same time, which is what usually happens after fitting anything to a motorcycle.
The Strongest Case
An older injected engine, an aftermarket silencer and a rider who has noticed the hesitation. That is where the product does exactly what its description says.
The Airbox Lid
Owners sometimes drill or remove it hoping for the same result. That changes airflow without changing fuel and generally makes the mixture problem worse rather than better.
Documentation
There is very little of it, because there is very little to say. A wiring position, a warning about heat and a note about reversibility covers everything an owner needs.
