DescriptionThe whole story▼
A supermoto begs to be ridden hard, and the Zero FXS from 2016 to 2022 is no exception. For riders who enjoy late braking on twisty roads or who book a session on a kart track, Accossato makes the AGPA92 front pad in EV1 street/track compound. It is designed for sporty street riding and amateur track use, giving a more direct bite than a commuter pad without needing race temperatures to work.
Key Features
- AGPA92 front pads for the Zero FXS 2016-2022
- Fits the ZF3.3, ZF3.6 and ZF6.5 versions per Accossato
- EV1 street/track compound
- Excellent grip for street and amateur track, says Accossato
- Direct feedback for late braking
- Siblings: OR, ST, EV2, ZXC
- Two pads for one caliper
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes EV1 as delivering excellent grip for road riding and amateur circuit use. That dual purpose shapes the compound: responsive enough on a cool road, robust enough for a series of hot laps. Like the rest of the range, the pad is designed to wear slowly and to keep heat in check so that fade remains limited during hard use.
Kart Tracks and Tight Corners
Kart tracks are a natural playground for an electric supermoto. The corners are tight, the straights short and the front brake is used on every lap. With EV1 pads on the FXS, the lever answers quickly and lets you trail the brake deep into the turn. Before the session, check brake fluid and pad wear, and set the lever at a comfortable reach. Between runs, look at the disc for heat discolouration. At the end of the day, the same pads carry you home without drama, which is the key difference from the pure racing compounds. Many FXS riders also like to adjust the regeneration level before a session, as it changes how much work the friction brakes have to do.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA92 for the front of the Zero FXS ZF3.3 and ZF6.5 (2016 to 2017) and the ZF3.6 (2016 to 2022). The FXS rear pad in the same period is AGPP91. Change both front pads together and bed them in with progressively firmer stops. Clean the pistons before pushing them back into the caliper.
Road Approval
Accossato has not supplied test documents or a German ABE for this pad, so we list it for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
Two EV1 pads for one front caliper.
