IN83066P is a textile crown liner from Shark's Alveotech V2 generation, supplied in red and in five sizes from XS to XL.

Key Features

Textile crown liner, Alveotech V2

Red (RED)

Sizes XS, S, M, L and XL

Listed weight 58 g

Sibling: IN4050P (FABRIC CAP in black)

When to replace it

A liner that has compressed lets the helmet sit lower and move on your head. If the helmet rocks forward at speed, if the fabric is torn, or if washing no longer brings back the fit, a new liner is due.

Before you order

Shark attaches no helmet model to this number in its price list or on its site; it only names the Alveotech V2 interior. That is why the number on the label inside your present liner matters. Shark also lists IN4050P, a FABRIC CAP in black with the same size range, which is a different part. Order the same size as the helmet itself unless the fit has always been loose or tight.

How it goes on

The crown liner usually attaches with press studs or tabs around the edge of the shell. Unhook the old one, note where each tab went, and fit the new one in the same order, starting at the front.

Supplied as

One crown liner in red, in the size you select.
