Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them. Shoulder screws set a clearance as well as clamping, which is why the length is exact. Öhlins uses metric threads throughout, but the length and head form are specific to the position.

Genuine Service Part

Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 24629-63 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. dimension a 16 mm, dimension b 26 mm, dimension c 5 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it. Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at once, which is why the grade matters.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 24629-63

Category: Spacers

Dimension A: 16 mm

Dimension B: 26 mm

Dimension C: 5 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/24629-63_55660a1d-6878-40a4-aaea-ca4c45e75a36.png?v=1788880795
