A cracked bracket is a safety matter rather than a cosmetic one. A cracked bracket is a safety matter, not a cosmetic one. Öhlins anodises housings for corrosion resistance rather than for looks.

Why the Original

Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up.

Identifying the Right Part

25654-12 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Öhlins machines housings from solid billet rather than casting them. Brackets locate the damper or reservoir against the chassis and take the load in one direction only.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 25654-12

Category: Brackets

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/25654-12_bf3cc02c-aebe-41eb-84bf-16393e5c3b92.png?v=1788878541
