Where It Sits
The published figures are 43 mm, 39.5 mm, 571 mm. Measure the old part against them before ordering. Öhlins publishes tube diameters by fork model, and they are not interchangeable across the range. Fork parts are specific to the fork, not to the motorcycle it happens to be fitted to. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range.
Why the Original
Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation.
How to Be Sure It Fits
If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 21634-13. dimension a 43 mm, dimension b 39.5 mm, dimension c 571 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Fork legs are matched left and right on most Öhlins forks and are listed separately. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range.
Fitting and Setup Service
Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.
