Inner tubes carry a low-friction coating; once it is through, the seals wear quickly.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 15202-58

Original Öhlins service part

Where It Sits

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. Öhlins machines the axle clamp so it grips without pulling the fork out of alignment. Cartridge tubes sit inside the fork leg and do the actual damping. Fork parts are specific to the fork, not to the motorcycle it happens to be fitted to.

Why the Original

The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 15202-58. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. The fork bottom carries the axle and takes the braking load into the fork. Bushings in the fork carry the side load; play there shows up as knocking under braking.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 15202-58

Category: Fork Bottoms

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/15202-58_dff9e988-7875-4eb9-8828-638f491f064e.png?v=1788878623
