Öhlins does not sell service parts as pattern equivalents — there is one specification. Öhlins keeps tooling for older units, which is why parts remain available. Ordering by number from the exploded view is the reliable way to get the right piece.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise.

Getting the Number Right

00163-19 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Öhlins states dimension a 14.1 mm, dimension b 40 mm, dimension c 39 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Service parts are what make an Öhlins unit worth rebuilding rather than replacing. Öhlins publishes an exploded view for every unit, and each position in it has its own number.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00163-19

Category: Service Parts

Dimension A: 14.1 mm

Dimension B: 40 mm

Dimension C: 39 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00163-19_f477a34e-1600-4554-a95f-d7012e6a07de.png?v=1788868750
