DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ES KIT21 removes secondary air from the Panigale V2 S 890 properly: the controller finds what it expects and the cylinder head is closed with aluminium rather than plastic.
Key Features
- Ducati Panigale V2 S 890 (2025–2026)
- Both halves of the secondary air deletion
- Solenoid eliminator and cylinder head cover
- One part number, one fitting session
- No drilling and no splicing
- Every standard part refits afterwards
A Different Motorcycle Entirely
Buyers moving from the 955 find almost nothing familiar. The engine, the frame and the electronics are all new and parts do not interchange.
Keep Everything
Both original components go back in an evening with nothing needing replacement, which matters at inspection time and at resale.
The Diagnostic Current
The controller pulses the circuit and measures what comes back. The connector's resistance sits inside the window it expects, so it reports normal.
What the Engine Feels
Nothing. The system injects air into the exhaust after combustion, so its removal changes nothing the crankshaft experiences.
Not a Tuning Change
No map is altered, no sensor is spoofed and no fuelling decision changes. The kit removes hardware rather than modifying behaviour.
Resistance, Not Trickery
The connector presents a value inside the window the controller expects from a healthy solenoid. There is no signal being generated or intercepted.
Nothing Structural Is Touched
The housing carries no load, the solenoid carries no current the engine needs, and neither removal affects sealing, cooling or mounting anywhere on the motor.
Cold Engine, Correct Torque
Aluminium threads in a warm cylinder head strip more easily than most people expect, and the specified figure for the head fasteners is low. Waiting for the engine to cool and looking the number up once is the entire difference between a short evening and a thread repair.
What to Have Ready
A torque wrench that reads accurately at low settings, a spare O-ring, a handful of cable ties and somewhere clean to put a fuel tank. That list is short because the job is short; the reason it matters is that stopping halfway through to find any of them means the tank sits on a bench overnight.
