Shoulder screws set a clearance as well as clamping, which is why the length is exact. Sealing washers are consumables — they take their shape on first assembly and do not seal twice. A plug that seals a gas port is a pressure part despite its size.

Original Öhlins Part

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation.

Getting the Number Right

24629-58 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. dimension a 12.1 mm, dimension b 23 mm, dimension c 22 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Öhlins gives each length its own number because the assembly depends on it. A spacer that is a millimetre short changes the preload on a shim stack, and with it the damping.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 24629-58

Category: Spacers

Dimension A: 12.1 mm

Dimension B: 23 mm

Dimension C: 22 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/24629-58_fbc53a85-69c1-4ff7-85bb-e6d98bf43429.png?v=1788880790
