The bracket is what turns a universal reservoir into something that fits a Panigale 899. The OBT009 is the rear bracket: 28.9 mm by 31 mm, black anodised, 10 g. LighTech anodises it black and offers nothing else. On a 898 cc machine like the Panigale 899 it is the cheapest cockpit change available.

Where the Reservoir Ends Up
LighTech splits reservoir and bracket because the bracket is what varies by machine. The OBT009 is the rear of the two brackets, measuring 28.9 mm and 31 mm. It fits the LighTech reservoirs OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007 and is sold without any of them.
Fitment
LighTech lists the OBT009 for the Ducati Panigale 899. Mounting is simple, but where it ends up on the Panigale 899 is your decision, not a fixed point.
Fitting
The OBT009 goes on with the Panigale 899 on its stand. Mount it so the reservoir sits above the master cylinder on the Panigale 899, never below. Instructions are in the box; the Panigale 899 needs no modification.
Looking After It
Check the bracket fasteners on the Panigale 899 at the same interval as the bar clamps. Otherwise it is a fit-and-forget item on the Panigale 899.

The OBT009 is supplied as a single bracket with its fasteners. Spares are listed under their own numbers rather than bundled.
Sold Separately
LighTech sells this mount on its own. It is made for the LighTech reservoir range and fits none of the original parts. Ask us and we will pair it with the right reservoir for your Panigale 899.
Approval and Safety
On a Panigale 899 this component carries brake or clutch fluid under pressure. There is no type approval for the OBT009; we say that plainly rather than bury it. For a road-registered Panigale 899 in Germany, have the installation assessed before you rely on it — and have the system bled and checked by a workshop afterwards.
