That is the OBT008: a 10 g bracket measuring 60.6 mm in height and 90.3 mm in projection. No finish to choose: LighTech lists the OBT008 in black alone. The listing covers the 990 DUKE across 3 model years (2024 to 2026).

Key Features

Made in Italy

The OBT008 is machined from solid, not cast or pressed

Nothing on the 990 DUKE is drilled, cut or permanently altered

A stock LighTech item rather than a special order

Laser-marked with the LighTech logo

60.6 mm in height, 90.3 mm of projection

The Mount Decides the Fit

Two brackets exist for a reason: height and projection differ front to rear. Black anodised aluminium at 10 g, which is all the OBT008 needs to be. It fits the LighTech reservoirs OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007 and is sold without any of them.

What It Fits

Fitment is the 990 DUKE across 2024 to 2026. It is an adaptable bracket, not a KTM part — measure the space on the 990 DUKE first.

Looking After It

Anodised aluminium takes brake cleaner badly; keep it off the OBT008. Beyond that the OBT008 asks nothing of you.

Mounting It

The OBT008 replaces an existing part on the 990 DUKE rather than adding one. Check steering lock on the 990 DUKE once the tank is in place. Nothing on the 990 DUKE is drilled or cut.

Sold Separately

LighTech sells this mount on its own. It is made for the LighTech reservoir range and fits none of the original parts. A complete installation on the 990 DUKE is one tank plus one bracket.

Scope of Delivery

The OBT008 is supplied as a single bracket with its fasteners. Spares are listed under their own numbers rather than bundled.

Road Use and Approval

This part sits in the brake or clutch hydraulic circuit, which makes it more than a styling item. No approval paperwork comes with the OBT008 and we do not present it as approved. Track-only machines raise no approval question; a registered 990 DUKE does.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT008

Type: Reservoir bracket, front

Height: 60.6 mm

Projection: 90.3 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: KTM 990 DUKE (2024 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT008NER_2763e0a7-72ed-4cb2-ac0f-35447d9527e1.png?v=1791205047
