The OBT008 sets the reservoir position on the CBR 600 RR at 60.6 mm and 90.3 mm. There is no colour choice here — the OBT008 is black. The 599 cc CBR 600 RR takes it with the standard fittings.

Key Features

A stock LighTech item rather than a special order

Simple, intuitive mounting — LighTech's own description, and it holds

Laser-marked with the LighTech logo

Made in Italy

10 g of bracket on the CBR 600 RR

The front bracket of the pair

In the Workshop

Allow half an hour on the CBR 600 RR including bleeding. Check steering lock on the CBR 600 RR once the tank is in place. Keep the original parts — the change is fully reversible on the CBR 600 RR.

Fitment

Fitment is the CBR 600 RR across 2003 to 2026. The bracket carries the reservoir; check the space on your CBR 600 RR before deciding front or rear.

Position Is the Point

The bracket is the part that has to suit the CBR 600 RR, not the tank. The OBT008 sets the reservoir at 60.6 mm height with 90.3 mm of projection. One bracket per reservoir — the CBR 600 RR needs the tank ordered alongside.

Supplied As

LighTech ships the OBT008 on its own. Packaging carries the reference, so a second order is unambiguous.

Order This With It

No reservoir is included with the OBT008. It carries LighTech's OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007 tanks, which are ordered separately. If you are starting from nothing on the CBR 600 RR, you need both lines on the order.

Maintenance

Check the bracket fasteners on the CBR 600 RR at the same interval as the bar clamps. Otherwise it is a fit-and-forget item on the CBR 600 RR.

Approval Status

The hydraulic circuit is the one area where a styling part stops being a styling part. LighTech supplies no type-approval document with the OBT008, and we make no approval claim for it. For a road-registered CBR 600 RR in Germany, have the installation assessed before you rely on it — and have the system bled and checked by a workshop afterwards.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT008

Type: Reservoir bracket, front

Height: 60.6 mm

Projection: 90.3 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Honda CBR 600 RR (2003 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT008NER_3487f3e3-6ca2-4fd5-9850-5d189ee69b17.png?v=1791204929
https://inter-pace.com/en-gl/products/lightech-reservoir-bracket-front-honda-cbr-600-rr-2003-2026-obt008
