LighTech's OBT008 carries the reservoir at 60.6 mm height and 90.3 mm out from the mount. LighTech anodises it black and offers nothing else. It changes the part of the S1000RR the rider looks at most.

Key Features

Fitting the OBT008 to the S1000RR needs hand tools only

Laser-marked with the LighTech logo

Black anodised — LighTech makes this bracket in no other finish

10 g of bracket on the S1000RR

LighTech part number OBT008, listed for the BMW S1000RR

Nothing on the S1000RR is drilled, cut or permanently altered

Position Is the Point

Position decides whether the hose runs clean or kinks on an S1000RR. The OBT008 is the front of the two brackets, measuring 60.6 mm and 90.3 mm. It is an adaptable bracket, not a BMW part — measure the space on the S1000RR first.

What You Also Need

The OBT008 is a bracket and nothing else. It carries the OBT reservoir family (001, 006 and 007), which are ordered separately. Ask us and we will pair it with the right reservoir for your S1000RR.

Fitting

Allow half an hour on the S1000RR including bleeding. Check steering lock on the S1000RR once the tank is in place. Instructions are in the box; the S1000RR needs no modification.

What Is in the Box

LighTech ships the OBT008 on its own. LighTech keeps it as a stock item.

Brake System and Road Approval

On an S1000RR this component carries brake or clutch fluid under pressure. No approval paperwork comes with the OBT008 and we do not present it as approved. If the S1000RR is used on public roads, treat this as a brake-system modification: inspection body first, workshop check after.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT008

Type: Reservoir bracket, front

Height: 60.6 mm

Projection: 90.3 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: BMW S1000RR (2019 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT008NER_65f7e2b0-44a8-4182-97eb-0614e8d4b13c.png?v=1791204719
