The 690 Enduro R is a road-legal enduro bike with a 690 cc single. The JP PD KT032 replaces its right-hand switch with a machined Ergal body.

Genuinely Off Road
Twenty-one inch front wheel, 250 millimetres of travel and a seat height that puts most riders on tiptoes. The Enduro R is not an adventure bike with knobblies; it is a competition enduro machine with lights, and it behaves accordingly.
A Decade Without a Rethink
KTM built this generation from 2014 to 2024 with revisions rather than replacements. The chassis and the switch mounting stayed constant throughout, which is convenient given how many of these motorcycles have been rebuilt at least once.
The Bar Meets the Ground
Any bike ridden on this terrain falls over, repeatedly and usually at walking pace. The end of the handlebar reaches the ground before almost anything else, and a body cut from solid Ergal deforms where a clipped moulding splits at its clamp.
Standing, Not Sitting
The riding position assumes the rider is on the pegs for long stretches, which brings the hands to the bar from above and further forward. Controls laid out for a seated rider sit at a different angle, and machined relief works from either.
Dust Before Water
Fine grit is more destructive to switchgear than rain because it works into a contact and stays there. Sealed elements inside a housing with no moulded joint give it nowhere to enter, which on a bike hosed down after every ride matters twice over.
Universal Clamp Holes
Enduro riders fit hand guards, bar risers and frequently a different master cylinder. The universal plate accepts both bolt geometries, which keeps the cockpit build flexible rather than fixing it around one component.
A Long Way From Help
These motorcycles are ridden where recovery is difficult. A component unlikely to fail is worth more here than the same component on a machine that never leaves a road, and that is the practical case for the part.
