DescriptionThe whole story▼

With a GSX-R-derived four in an upright chassis, the GSR750 has a sporty heart, and the carbon BHP2 shows it. The BHP2 Carbon for the Suzuki GSR750 of 2011 to 2015, type WVC5, protects the front brake lever.

Key Features

  • Minimal weight, according to Gilles
  • Two-part design: arm and holder can be replaced separately
  • Mounting kit included
  • Carbon arm, used in WorldSBK according to Gilles
  • Black hard-anodised aluminium holder, adjustable and rotatable
  • No registration required, according to Gilles

Carbon at the bar end

The carbon arm reaches past the brake lever tip, which on a naked bike is one of the first parts to hit the ground.

An older bike, a new detail

Many GSR750s are on their second or third owner by now. A carbon guard freshens up the cockpit and keeps the original lever intact from here on.

Road Approval

For the Suzuki GSR750, Gilles states that no approval is necessary. Fit it, check it, ride; nothing has to be entered in the vehicle documents.

Scope of Delivery

A complete right-hand (brake) lever guard with a carbon arm, arm and holder assembled, and the mounting kit.

Fitting

Set the guard so that the lever can be pulled all the way to the grip without touching the arm, then tighten the holder firmly. Check the gap again whenever you change the lever span, and re-check the fixing after the first ride.
