DescriptionThe whole story▼
The brake and clutch fluid reservoirs sit on the handlebar clamps, at eye level, directly in the rider's field of view. Ducati mounts them on small stamped brackets, and on a motorcycle where the cockpit is otherwise carefully considered, those two brackets are the parts that look like they were specified by the accounts department.
Key Features
- Set of both reservoir mounts, brake side and clutch side
- Available in 200 Plain and in 245 Twill
- Autoclave-cured laminate, rigid enough that neither reservoir resonates on the bar
- Reuses the original reservoirs, hoses and fasteners
- Fits the Streetfighter V4 across all model years from 2020
The Only Carbon You See at Every Moment
A rider looks at the cockpit continuously and at the bodywork almost never while moving. These two brackets, the instrument surround and the tank cover are the entire carbon content visible from the saddle, which makes them worth more per euro than anything further back on the motorcycle.
They are also among the few articles here that fit the whole model run. Where nearly every panel is tied to a three-year window, these carry across the 2023 and 2025 revisions, which makes them a safe purchase on a motorcycle whose exact year is uncertain.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Streetfighter V4, model years 2020 through 2026, on the standard handlebar clamp positions. Machines fitted with aftermarket clip-ons or bar risers may need the mounting checked before ordering.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. The brackets carry the reservoirs without forming part of the hydraulic circuits, but confirm the position for your own registration before road use.
Vibration Is the Real Requirement
A handlebar is the part of a motorcycle that vibrates most, and anything mounted to it is subject to that for every hour of every ride. A bracket that flexes lets the reservoir move, and a reservoir that moves eventually works its fasteners loose.
Stiffness rather than strength is what matters, and it is what autoclave curing produces. Check the fasteners after the first hundred kilometres regardless of material; it is good practice on anything handlebar-mounted and takes a minute.
