DescriptionThe whole story▼

An MV Agusta is still a relatively rare sight on most roads, and a new Brutale 675 owner tends to feel every car park and narrow street a little more sharply than they would on a mass-produced naked, simply because replacement parts for an Italian specialist brand aren't sitting on every dealer's shelf. For the Brutale 675 built between 2012 and 2016, Accossato's PF034 front axle sliders offer cheap, easy-to-find insurance against that worry, without the wait a genuine MV Agusta part might involve.

Key Features

  • Front axle sliders for the MV Agusta Brutale 675, 2012 to 2016
  • Accossato part PF034, one protector for each side of the front wheel
  • Aluminium combined with plastic, finished in black
  • Spacers, screws and further mounting parts in the kit, as stated by Accossato
  • Meant to touch down first if the bike tips or slides at low speed
  • Pairs with the TP026 fairing crash pads for the same Brutale 675
  • Same PF034 part also listed for several other MV Agusta models
  • No German ABE on file; listed for racing and competition use

Construction and Material Quality

The PF034's two protectors are machined in aluminium and finished with a plastic insert in black, one bolted to each side of the front axle. Accossato's kit bundles in the spacers and screws needed for fitting, along with whatever further parts it judges necessary. Quite how the pair locates against this MV Agusta's own fork and axle isn't spelled out in the paperwork available to us, so no stud lengths or clearances are assumed here.

Owning a Rarer Italian Naked

A Brutale 675 owner is far less likely to find a compatible spare part at a passing dealer than the owner of a mainstream Japanese naked, and that scarcity makes even a minor scrape feel like a bigger problem than it would on a more common bike. Sliders fitted from the start mean the fork leg itself, rather than a part that might take weeks to source, is what takes a low-speed tip-over.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato's application list places the Brutale 675 across 2012 to 2016, so confirm your exact year before ordering. This same front axle turns up on several other MV Agusta machines too, among them the Brutale 800, the F3 675 and the flagship F4 1000, which says more about how MV standardised its front-end hardware than about the Brutale 675 specifically.

Road Approval

Accossato supplies no German ABE or equivalent approval paperwork for the PF034, so we list this pair for racing and competition use on the Brutale 675 rather than for everyday road riding.

Scope of Delivery
