DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Kawasaki ZX-4 RR of 2023 to 2026 has quickly become a favourite at open track days, where its screaming four-cylinder and light chassis make it a fun and forgiving teacher. Accossato's AGPA109 front pad in the EV1 street/track mixture is aimed at riders who take their ZX-4 RR to such days a few times a year but also use it on public roads the rest of the time.

Key Features

  • Front pads AGPA109 for the Kawasaki ZX-4 RR, 2023 to 2026
  • EV1 street/track mixture, SKU AGPA109EV1
  • Accossato says it grips excellently on the road and during amateur track use
  • Clear initial bite for later braking points
  • One set for the road and track days
  • Suits riders building circuit experience
  • ST, EV2 and ZXC also made on this plate
  • No ABE on file with us; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes EV1 as a compound with excellent grip for street riding and for amateurs on a circuit. It is a middle ground between the everyday Sintered pad and the pure racing compounds, and it suits the typical ZX-4 RR owner who rides hard on weekends. Accossato also names low wear, heat kept under control to avoid fade and a strong braking effect.

Track Days on a 400 Four

The ZX-4 RR rewards riders who learn to carry speed, and that is what track days teach. Organisers usually split riders into groups by experience, and the first sessions are about learning lines and braking points. EV1 gives a firm, predictable response at the lever, which helps when you begin to brake later and harder. After the last session, the same pads take you home without being changed.

Before the event, check the tyre condition, the chain tension and the brake fluid. Take a small tool kit, a spare lever and a bottle of brake cleaner to the circuit.

Between Sessions

Let the bike rest in neutral with the brakes released, and do not cover the hot discs. A quick look at the pads before the next session is enough to spot anything unusual.

Fitment and Compatibility

For the front of the ZX-4 RR from 2023 to 2026 Accossato lists AGPA109. DKS080 is the matching Accossato disc. There is no rear pad listed for this model here. Each box covers one caliper, so count the calipers on your bike.

Road Approval

No ABE or German approval certificate for AGPA109EV1 is available to us. We sell it for track use.
