Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at once, which is why the grade matters. Pins and dowels locate parts to each other; without them the assembly is merely clamped, not positioned. A spacer that is a millimetre short changes the preload on a shim stack, and with it the damping.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 05269-02. Öhlins states dimension a 22 mm, dimension b 42 mm, dimension c 2 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Pins and dowels locate parts to each other; without them the assembly is merely clamped, not positioned. Circlips are single-use in practice: once sprung, they no longer hold their groove reliably.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05269-02

Category: Spacers

Dimension A: 22 mm

Dimension B: 42 mm

Dimension C: 2 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05269-02_f9fecc0d-1894-498d-b835-9eaa1eb9aafe.png?v=1788873985
