What It Is
00530-21 is the 12 mm, 21 mm, 0.30 mm version — Öhlins lists each size separately. Two shims of the same thickness but different diameter give completely different damping. Face flatness matters as much as thickness — a shim that does not seal against its neighbour leaks damping. Shims are reused only if they are undamaged and flat; a coned shim is finished.
